Our data is at the core of everything we do, and we're looking for a Director, Data Product Management to join our team and help us build our data engine platform tooling that serves our internal and external data consumers.

As a Director, Data Product Management, you will be responsible for data democratization and increasing the time to value of our data. You'll design, build, and manage the cross-functional development of a suite of specific data tools to serve multiple customers. You will also ensure the qualities of a data product, including reliability and observability, scalability, extensibility, usability, security and compliance, release discipline, and roadmap planning.

The successful candidate will join a diverse team, located onsite in NYC and remotely in various locations across the world, that is dedicated to the pursuit of our mission to address the unmet need in healthcare pharma-life science.

Responsibilities

1. Data Roadmap & Prioritization:
• Own the data engine roadmap. Lead the prioritization of data mapping and development activities, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (product, data engineering, medical/clinical expertise, data science, quality, and commercial) to drive a common objective and goal for the team.
• Collaborate with executive leadership team to define and implement the overall data strategy.
• Incorporate regular feedback from the commercial team into the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with the NLP (Natural Language Processing) team to correctly prioritize NLP-related tasks.
• Emphasize data quality initiatives, efforts, and metrics to enhance the robustness of the data asset.
• Coordinate with the analytics and product team to understand and meet the needs of internal and external data consumers.

2. Data Partnerships:
• Enhance upstream activities by managing external data partnership efforts and providing comprehensive and timely support.
• Manage existing data partner relationships to enhance engagement, streamline communication and optimize data exchange activities.

3. Data Product Offerings:
• Incorporate research, analysis, and prioritization to increase the value proposition of our data products based on competitive analysis, customer needs, and market segmentation.
• Explore and identify new data product offerings and implement strategies for their commercial success.

4. Market Insights:
• Lead competitive analysis and market research activities to ensure a comprehensive up-to-date view of what drives value in data and in behavioral health.
• Analyze and lead pricing insights.

5. Product Marketing and Communication:
• Effectively position data products in the market, considering target audience needs and market trends.
• Define and communicate the value of Holmusk's data asset through strategic product marketing initiatives.

Qualifications
• 7-10 years of experience in a data product role
• BA/BS in engineering or equivalent
• Excellent proven understanding of best practices for developing data as a product
• Excellent proven understanding of healthcare pharma-life science landscape, specifically in behavioral health
• Preferred: Experience with OMOP Common Data Model (OHDSI)
• Preferred: Experience in data analytics and/or data visualization
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
$120,000 - $190,000 a month
