We're looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and innovative Head of Talent Acquisition to lead our TA team. Reporting to the VP of People, this role will play a pivotal part in scaling our growing teams globally – developing and executing strategic programs within the recruiting function that support recruiting training & enablement, technology systems, reporting & data insights, and processes within a cross-functional people team environment to help our leaders hire strong and diverse teams.

What you'll do in the Role

    • Build, inspire, and coach a high performing Talent Acquisition team
    • Lead our recruiting DEI efforts within recruiting while partnering with the broader People team, employee resource groups and business groups
    •  Drive long term and burst talent acquisition operational strategy by partnering with VP People and cross-functional stakeholders including the People leadership team, Finance, and business leaders. 
    • Continuously improve TA processes, system efficiencies, reports, and recruiter/hiring manager enablement 
    •  Create, maintain, and deliver reporting, insights, and metrics across business stakeholders to help drive a focus on execution and excellence in TA execution and operations
    • Create a unique and intentional recruiting experience from application through pre-employment, with a focus on candidate, recruiter, and hiring manager experience 
    • Manage the strategy, project management, and execution of employer brand initiatives and campaigns  
    • Work closely with vendors such as Lever, LinkedIn, and Gem to ensure the TA team is fully leveraging functionality of our tools and maximizing efficiency across platforms 
    • Lead regular updates and audits across platforms to maintain compliance within each global region we operate in

    • Multi-dimensional in depth of experiences emphasizing knowledge and best practices for DEI, recruiting coordination, sourcing, candidate experience, employee referral programs, immigration regulations and policies, employment branding, university programs, global geo-expansion, and vendor management 
    • Experienced in hyper-growth, high pressure, high visibility and turnaround situations 
    • Capable of assessing needs, influencing, collaborating, and delivering at all levels in the organization including the C-level 
    • A developer of talent who utilizes your coaching skills to bring out the best in your team 
    • Able to think and act strategically, creatively, and with agility in the context of building operational excellence in a talent acquisition team
    • Someone who develops trust and models open, candid, respectful communication and collaborative teamwork 
    • Capable of maintaining a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement and commitment to action 
    • Not only adapts to, but also leads others through change in fast-paced environments 

What you'll bring:

    • As a departmental leader:
    • Will be a BUILDER and will come with the expertise to build systems and processes that are custom to the needs and culture of HNY 
    • Will need to be an influential strategist in order to drive efficiencies and improvements that span across departments at HNY
    • People leader:
    • While the current FTE team is two, we are looking for a leader with a PROFICIENT level of expertise as they will be mentoring and coaching other hiring managers/leaders 
    • We’re looking for you to have direct experience with the following within a fast-paced technology or SaaS-based startup environments: Designing and building TA systems and operations Directly hiring and leading senior ICs directly, therefore we look to you having build recruiting teams from the ground up 
    • Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiating skills to quickly establish rapport and credibility at all levels within an organization, including the C-level 
    • Experience creating, maintaining, and presenting recruiting performance metrics across all levels of an organization 
    • Ability to work well individually and within a cross functional and globally diverse team
