Marketing Manager B2B

Honeypot is a developer-focused job platform on a mission to get every developer a great job. Honeypot is co-founded by entrepreneurs Kaya Taner and Emma Tracey. Kaya previously co-founded mobile app marketing platform AppLift, a profitable organisation with 250+ employees today and raised USD 20 Mio+ Venture funding from Dutch Prime Ventures. Emma previously co-founded Lifa Communications, based in South Africa. Honeypot is now looking for a highly-driven, intelligent B2B Marketeer ready for a true entrepreneurial challenge and to shape the scale up.

Your Responsibilities:

    • You take ownership of marketing and content-related initiatives and co-shape + execute our positioning strategy
    • You reach out and close smart marketing partnerships with influencers, bloggers and other stakeholders to create buzz and traction for our product
    • You build lasting relationships with top start-up/tech related press and bloggers and take charge of our PR strategy and flawless execution of it
    • You come up with cool and creative marketing ideas that spark true enthusiasm in our customers and partners (no need to hold back - we can go crazy here ;-)
    • You strategically plan (inbound and outbound) lead generation with the growth team and execute hands-on
    • You organise and attend (industry) events and fairs and guarantee a smooth execution
    • You monitor relevant KPIs and analyse data to constantly improve our relevancy
    • You constantly communicate with our sales and product teams to collect and give input for our future direction
    • You work independently and manage your own work
    • You contribute to the overall success of the company

Our Requirements:

    • Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in marketing, business, linguistics or communications-related field
    • 2+ years prior professional experience in B2B Marketing related roles (e.g. PR, Marketing, Content creation)
    • Previous experience in startups strong plus
    • World-class (written and oral) communication skills
    • Very strong motivation to make a successful career within start-ups
    • Great presentation and relationship-building skills
    • Capacity and empathy to understand the target market needs and to draft and execute the fitting company positioning
    • Fluency in English is a must (additional German skills a very strong plus)
    • Very strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to take ownership and drive both operational tasks as well as more strategic decisions
    • Mindset and ability to work/communicate in a fast-paced environment
