Honeypot is Europe’s tech-focused job platform for Software Developers, DevOps, Data Scientists, Product Owners, and Engineering Leaders. Honeypot was founded in 2015 by serial entrepreneurs Kaya Taner (AppLift) and Emma Tracey (Lifa Communications) and is backed by influential angel investors and advisers from the Berlin startup and tech scene.

Honeypot is entering the rapid scale up phase and we are looking for highly-driven, curious and creative people. For the role of Head of Product, we are looking for someone who will manage product strategy, set priorities, manage our backlog and execute on our vision.

Responsibilities

    • Execute the product roadmap with your team and co-shape the organisation's product vision
    • Lead the product team
    • Work closely with our data teams to develop strong user personalisation and better matching between companies and developers
    • Recruit and mentor further great talent into the technical teams at Honeypot
    • Lead and contribute to the technical delivery of projects and features
    • Set up and execute user testings to further understand users' needs
    • Develop and maintain a consistent and unique user experience
    • Instil and represent a conversion-driven mindset
    • Run and improve a successful product development process
    • Lead the definition and prioritisation of features

Requirements

    • 4+ years of product management experience with a solid track record of developing and launching successful products or exceptional experience leading a performance-driven product and/or engineering team
    • Domain knowledge and hands-on capabilities in at least one of the following areas: web applications, databases, data engineering (bonus points for someone who has worked on a project which leverages machine learning or advanced statistical models)
    • Strong mindset of user centricity and constant drive to improve user experience
    • Willingness to listen and mediate between different stakeholders across the company (Engineering, Talent Management, Customer Success, Sales and Operations)
    • Very strong analytic aptitude and experience in identifying and monitoring KPIs and reporting on project/product development
    • Keen sense for requirements engineering, story writing, prioritisation and UX design
    • Profoundly pragmatic mentality, curiosity and technical capabilities that help you to understand our technical needs
    • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
    • Fluency in English is a must (German skills a very strong bonus)
