As a global and dynamic company, we seek a highly-skilled Strategic Business Analyst to join our team. A successful candidate will develop and maintain business models to forecast our performance. We offer five main subscription-based products (Hosting, VPS, Domain, Mail, and Web Builder) sold worldwide with varied pricing structures. Our goal is to reach unicorn status, and this role is instrumental to achieving it, especially through advanced modeling.

What You Will Do:
- Develop and enhance models to predict business performance, incorporating variables such as country, product, pricing, client segment, renewal rates, and currencies.
- Design and conduct experiments within models to forecast outcomes of various business strategies and changes.
- Analyze extensive datasets to identify significant trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, understandable information for stakeholders.
- Gain a deep understanding of our product offerings and the factors influencing renewal rates and revenue.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Finance, Marketing, and Revenue teams to collect data and align modeling outcomes with business goals.
- Communicate findings and insights effectively to non-finance audiences, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in business modeling and analytics.
- Implement new methodologies and technologies to enhance modeling capabilities.
What We Expect:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role involving complex business modeling.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and interpret large and complex datasets.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in work outputs.
- A curious mindset that strives to comprehend and gather context, validates data from primary sources, asks clear questions, and challenges information when necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Effective collaboration in cross-functional team environments.
- Capability to lead initiatives and grow into leadership role as the company expands.
- Experience in subscription-based businesses, understanding subscription metrics and dynamics.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and their application in business forecasting.
- Experience in data modeling tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL).
- Experience with visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
