We are looking for a dynamic Technical Lead specializing in PHP backend development. In this position, you'll have a significant impact on the quality and architecture of all Hostinger products, contributing to our diverse range of offerings. You will also play a pivotal role in creating a backend community, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. Your expertise will not only shape our products but also drive results, setting new standards in backend development.

What You Will Do:
- Define and oversee scalable architectures for PHP backend systems.
- Conduct regular code reviews, ensuring high-quality coding standards and knowledge sharing.
- Guide the team in adopting the latest technologies and frameworks.
- Resolve technical challenges and act as a point of escalation within the backend domain.
- Provide mentorship, allocate tasks efficiently, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Lead the hiring process for new backend team members.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of backend components.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Foster a collaborative backend community, organizing team-building activities and knowledge-sharing sessions.
What We Expect:
- Proven experience as a PHP developer with a strong background in backend development.
- Leadership experience, either as a team lead or manager.
- In-depth knowledge of PHP frameworks (Laravel is a plus) and best practices.
- Proficiency in advanced senior-level database querying.
- Strong understanding and experience in designing system architectures.
- Proven track record in leading and contributing to the hiring process.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript for enhanced frontend-backend collaboration.
- Knowledge of Go language for expanding technical capabilities.
- Experience with Medusa, providing an additional layer of expertise.
- Understanding Node.js for comprehensive backend development.
