Hotstar currently offers over 50,000 hours of TV content and more across 8 languages, and every major sport covered live. A key part of our ecosystem is the marketers that leverage our platform to achieve their objectives. The Ad Sales team manages our relationships with them and we are looking for a bright keen individual to work with our sales leadership in growing our business. As the Strategy and CA Lead the candidate will have the opportunity to lead and facilitate the path to define sustainable digital ideas, recommend quality engagement imitates and memorable experiences across digital channel opportunities for the client pitches.

Your job responsibilties

    • Work across client categories where there is a digital remit, emerging opportunities requiring more digital strategic input, and supporting in new business and digital development across the agency. Have the opportunity to use digital expertise to influence the strategic direction for brand communications and be involved in delivering effective work across all digital touch points.
    • Work with the team to develop and deliver Brand, Brand Response and Direct response communications
    • Be at the forefront of strategic advice, both inside the agency and with senior clients creative solutions and inputs
    • Develop over all strategic view of business
    • Quarterly diagnostic on what is going well/ not going well
      Roadmap of plan for next quarter
    • Fiscal Budgeting and Planning: 
    • Identify focus set of advertisers and build revenue aspiration by advertiser based on TV and digital video media spends
      Revenue aspiration used for following
    • Develop GTM strategy:
    • Ensure that the organization is well structured to meet the priorities for the year. Determine focus accounts for direct team vs agency team + movement of accounts between teams 
      Sales incentive structure to motivate teams to focus on strategic areas
    • BAU sales processes: 
    • Run various cross functional sales meetings e.g. Weekly sales leadership meeting,  Revenue Townhall etc.
      Revenue intel on key advertiser spends each month on TV and digital 
      Pipeline management and Revenue tracking
    • External B2B initiatives
    • Launch NPS survey to Direct clients to understand customer perception of Hotstar
      Newsletters with case studies

    • Preferred Qualification: MBA, preferably from Tier I
