Our Customer Retention team is focused on onboarding and retaining our customers. We are devoted to helping our viewers discover and engage with content they love and spend more time on our platform. We are passionate about developing strong entrepreneurial teams that put customers at the center and are committed to providing them exciting experiences.


You will:
·      Build retention frameworks for customer cohorts and personas, and activate marketing on-platform and notifications off-platform customized to the respective cohorts & personas.
·      A key part of the responsibility will center around on-platform marketing to deliver a completely personalized user experience: surfacing the right content on mastheads, trays, recommendations, and in-stream ads. Create and test new content and formats, promos, etc
·      Use data, customer insights, feedback, journey mapping and customer-centric thinking to deeply understand the customer lifecycle and identify opportunities for growth and optimization at every stage
·      Obsess over customers and deep dive into their engagement with Hotstar. Use this knowledge to identify lapser behavior and build marketing communication and a platform experience that converts potential lapsed users & light users to engaged users
·      Conceive, design and deploy event based marketing programs (during IPL and similar high viewership events)
·      Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, analytics, marketing ops and creative to meet ambitious growth targets
·      Partner with Data Science to leverage machine learning to automate campaigns and improve targeting  


You have:
·      4+ years of experience, preferably in growth / product marketing in tech, consulting
·      MBA from premier B-school, preferably in marketing and strategy
·      Ability to influence and lead a cross-functional team from idea to launch
·      Analytical mindset, with experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to guide strategy
·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·      Experience in SQL and/or Excel
·      Comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment
