Paying da bills. If you’ve done it, Accounts Payable, you know there’s so much more that goes into it than just cutting a check or scheduling a payment. We’re in search of an Accounts Payable Merchandise Clerk who has exceptional detail orientation and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with keying invoice data, assisting with the merchandise payment process, performing other administrative tasks, and providing support to the Accounts Payable team. We don’t underestimate the importance of the AP function, so you’ll have the support you need in an environment that leads to happy people. This position reports to the Accounts Payable Merchandise Supervisor.

This role operates on a hybrid schedule and will require to work from our HQ located in the City of Industry, CA two days a week.

Pay range is $19.00/hr - $19.50/hr.
Please note the pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting, but other factors such as an individual’s education, location, meeting the minimum job requirements for the role, training and experience, will determine the final salary for potential new hires.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • You’ll gather and input invoice data efficiently to ensure payments can be processed promptly and accurately
    • Review any questionable invoice items and identify missing information
    • Partner with vendors to resolve invoicing issues
    • Research payment history to keep accounts current with vendors
    • Generate reports used by the team
    • Support the team by performing other job duties as needed
    • Identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and recommend solutions

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

    • Paper stack: High School diploma or GED
    • At least 1 year of previous data entry experience (retail environment preferred)
    • Excel wiz status; you’ll bring chops in Excel and AP retail merchandising software
    • Accuracy and attention to detail; you sweat the small stuff when it comes to numbers - 10 key is a plus!
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Superb organizational skills to manage volume of invoices and maintains composure under pressure
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively with team members
    • Team player mentality with a drive for growth. Sounds cliché, but we’re serious about it!
