The Head of Sales will oversee Human API’s sales and business development organization. This person is fundamentally responsible for driving revenue growth. Reporting to the CEO, our Head of Sales will sit on the executive leadership team, taking full accountability for company wide new business success.

What you'll do

    • Own and drive top-line revenue growth through new logo acquisition
    • Build and promote a performance-driven revenue culture obsessed with delivering outcomes
    • Assume responsibility for, manage, and grow our sales and revenue generating partnerships organizations
    • Evolve our deal strategies to maximize revenue and minimize cycle time
    • Continuously run a rigorous deal process to support visibility, alignment, predictability, repeatability and scale
    • Develop and communicate pipeline health and deal health through quantitative, metrics-based approaches
    • Participate in strategic planning to develop thorough, bottoms-up revenue projections for annual budgets and multi-year projections

About you

    • Experience leading a B2B SaaS sales organization selling into the enterprise space, preferably into a regulated industry (healthcare, insurance, banking)
    • Experience selling value to enterprises, and developing and owning business cases to support and demonstrate that value; delivering on 7-figure deals with C-level executives
    • 15+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of driving growth and exceeding quotas
    • 5+ Senior sales management experience
    • Proven success in early-stage organizations with 2x+ YoY top line growth trajectories
    • Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of delegating and directing to meet and exceed results
    • Ability to operate in an environment of uncertainty with conviction, pushing through negotiations
    • Entrepreneurial attitude and familiarity with the strategies and tactics needed to develop and grow new business opportunities
    • Ability to both exhibit and create a sense of urgency in all things, while preserving relationships
