Senior Hardware Engineer - Power

    • Own wireless power architecture, battery selection, and system power design.
    • Plan and lead validation of your designs: lead complete functional verification, signal characterization, power modeling and optimization.
    • Work with all cross-functional teams (software, product design, industrial design, program management, operations, etc.) to deliver a successful product to market.
    • Bring your design to mass production by setting factory test requirements, assisting in system bring up, traveling on-site to the manufacturer to ensure the design is built and tested successfully.

Key Requirements

    • Experience shipping high volume consumer electronics products with wireless charging technologies and rechargeable batteries.
    • Experience qualifying new rechargeable cell designs from Tier 1 vendors.
    • Experience working with overseas CMs/JDMs to design and manufacture products.
    • Ability to travel to factories to support builds. 
    • Experience with regulatory and safety certification for wireless charging systems and rechargeable batteries.
    • Experience working with lab equipment for hands-on prototyping, design, and power analysis. 
    • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
    • 5-10 years of experience working in the consumer electronics industry.
