Role Overview: 
As New Business Lead, you will work with other team members and autonomously to research and prospect organizations that align with our growth strategy, mission, culture and values. You will identify and foster productive new relationships with folks who have a track record of engaging design firms like HUSH to solve business challenges. You will deliver meaningful presentations (verbal, visual, personal; remote & in-person) to business leaders, uncover project opportunities through active dialogue, and drive opportunities into our sales funnel. 

Key Responsibilities:
Generate qualified new leads using a clear articulation of HUSH’s best in class services
Research and prospect strategic new business contacts who have authentic design challenges to solve in line with HUSH’s creative vision
Present capabilities to key decision-makers within qualified organizations
Ask clients the hard questions to set us up for a strong, strategic partnership
Seamlessly on-board leadership and other sales team members to qualified opportunities by creating clearly articulated new business documentation
Collaborate with marketing, communications and PR teams to leverage relevant messaging and content to fuel outbound sales efforts
Engage in monthly travel to new, strategic locations for in-person meetings, events and workshops
Regularly report progress and insights based on predefined new business KPIs to the larger team
Provide critical metrics and data to keep HUSH CRM up to date

Evaluation:
Weekly evaluation of outreach, lead generation, and pipeline progress
Monthly evaluation of sales metrics against defined goals
Semi-annual employee reviews to track progress across core responsibilities, professional and personal goals

Requirements:
3+ years business development and/or sales experience for creative services firms, with proven experience
A sincere interest in design, contemporary arts, culture, architecture, and/or technology
Experience working with Fortune 500 brands, large corporations and institutions
An established network of contacts in decision-making positions (brand, real estate, marketing, HR, etc.) at premier organizations
Experience with long sales-cycles and project-driven sales
Organized, data- and results-driven; able to manage many opportunities at once
Ability to thrive in a vibrant, fast-paced, creative environment
Excellent writing, document preparation and presentation skills
Persuasive speaker, genuinely and actively curious about other perspectives, graceful under pressure
Ability to travel and/or work remotely from geographically strategic locations.
Comfortable with G-Suite applications (Gmail, Google Drive), CRMs (Pipedrive), Sales Engagement Software (Klenty) and Slack
BA/BS from accredited university
