Role Overview: 
The role of the Communication & PR Coordinator is to run and manage the daily operation of all marketing, communication and press related initiatives. The skills needed are broad and multidisciplinary. You will interface with every department, and you will be essential in supporting public relations initiatives, external communication, content development, and press-focused case study production. 

Focus: 70% marketing, communication, content | 30% PR agency liaison, media relations

Key Responsibilities
Be the voice of our agency by capturing and curating our work, culture, messaging and content. Collaborate with the business development team to create a virtuous cycle between marketing and business development efforts. Support operations, production, creative, and external PR partners. We promise first-hand exposure to all aspects of design & production, skill development and an active support for your growth. We expect an ability to perform consistently, and positively contribute to the voice of our agency.

Media Relations
•Outreach to editors and publications for HUSH project / story opportunities
•Respond to inbound inquiries from editors and publications
•Manage and grow editor/writer contact database
•Copyediting, writing, content creation and asset management for press initiatives

PR Firm & Award Submissions
•Outside PR Firm (Trust, Gotham, etc.)
° Production: Tracking projects, status, and timelines
° PR Articles & Releases - copyediting and submission
° EOW recaps to all PR parties internal / external
° Client x HUSH communications re: PR opps, tracking
•Award Submissions
° Research & Planning (i.e. find publications & awards that make sense for calendar year projects)
° Tracking and submission (i.e. submission and knowledge of timeline and date, financial tracking)
° Coordinating awards with social, & blog News post

•Create and manage external communications (e.g. Mailchimp emailers, click tracking)
•Produce internal case study & photography shoots
•HUSH external and internal communications events planning PR / Comms financial budget management / tracking / actualizing & wrap

Website Updates, Posts & Publishing (
•News blog posts
•Talent profile and project posts / updates
•Website SEO and support

•Manage social platforms
•Posting planning, scheduling and frequency
•Tracking and reporting on monthly analytics
•Creating, curating, editing social content across platforms

Evaluation: Semi-annual meetings to review progress on core responsibilities, professional and personal goals.

•1-2 years of post-college work and/or internship experience in comms, social media, etc. 
•Strong knowledge of Google Suite, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
•Knowledge of social and marketing platforms (Insta, LI, Twitter, FB, Mailchimp, etc.)
•Outgoing personality, motivated, inquisitive, empathetic, and calm under pressure
•Excellent written & verbal communication skills
