Role Overview: 
This is a leadership role. The producer is responsible for the management and execution of projects and all facets of the process. They are responsible for delivering the project to a high quality, on time and within budget. They are responsible for the financial performance of a project and are expected to communicate its performance frequently. They are meant to make critical decisions and provide solutions to problems. They are meant to work closely with creative leadership of the project on a daily basis to make sure that all objectives, deliverables and deadlines are being met. They are the production leader of the project.

Focus: 30% direction/management/presentation, 70% making/execution 

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:
•Lead all calls and meetings, internal and external, kick-offs, retrospectives and everything in between
•Perform project team check-ins (at least 3x/day)
•Be “go-to” person for all information on his/her project
•Act as day-to-day contact for client for projects in production
•Act as primary contact for all vendors and partners for projects
•Provide solutions to problemsCurate meeting attendees carefully and responsibly
•Arrive at every meeting prepared with an agenda and clear purpose
•Conclude each meeting by communicating next steps, deadlines and responsible parties

Communication:

Financial Management:
•Responsible for managing project budget and delivering project on or under budget
•Receive, approve, process invoices and enter invoices into project actuals
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date actuals and cost-to-finish (CTF) on a weekly basis, or more frequently as necessary
•Create and maintain project cash flow
•Communicate project cash flow to bookkeeper at start of project and as any updates or changes are made.
•Advise Bookkeeper immediately upon completion of a pre-approved date/milestone meant to trigger an invoice

Documentation:
•Responsible for drafting proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), Change Orders, Project Schedules, technical specifications, RFPs and any other production oriented documentation
•Responsible for drafting call/meeting agendas
•Responsible for capturing meeting notes and disseminating recaps internally and externally
•Responsible for drafting and maintaining project status document

Talent / Team Building:
•Coordinates with Design Director and/or Creative Director to define project teams based on deliverables, budget and schedule.
•Authorizes and initiates talent / team bookings through resource manager (associate producer)
•Performs regular check-ins with creative team (at least 3x/day)

Project / Time Management:
•Must have solid understanding of the project schedule, including client requirements (# of reviews, feedback/approval turnaround time), all production dependencies
•Maintain and Communicate updated project schedules to all necessary parties and in appropriate formats (client calendar, Basecamp calendar, Google calendar, Gantt Charts, etc)
•Perform meeting and presentation bookings according to HUSH process

Evaluation: Semi-annual meetings to review progress across core responsibilities, professional and personal goals. Project retrospectives to include performance & goal setting

Requirements:
•5+ years producing experience in Creative/Design/Agency setting.
•Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, as well as organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
•MS Office, Mac OS, Google Docs, Budgeting Software
•Omni Group Applications a plus (OmniGraffle, OmniPlan)
•Outgoing personality, vocal, inquisitive, friendly under pressure
•Demonstrated Strong Leadership Skills
