Responsibilities:
- Manage account book for US.
- Review expenses, payments, campaign budget, commissions, payroll, revenue recognitions and P&L.
- Journal preparations, account reconciliations (e.g. intercompany transactions).
- Assist in US taxes filings.
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline workflows and policies.
- Act as middleperson between Finance and other departments to accomplish targets and enhancements.
- Set up templates and workflow to enhance finance team processes.
- Test and raise issues of the systems.
- Ensure internal control procedures compliance.
- Examine and raise potential risk areas and recommend improvements.
- Assist in audit, and any ad hoc assignments.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
- 3-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in full set accounting.
- Candidates with CPA and audit experience will be an asset.
- Mature, detail oriented, independent and strong sense of initiative.
- Basic US tax knowledge preferred
- Strong numerical sense with proficient in using accounting software & MS Office; Netsuite / Oracle would be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with good command of English.
