With a total reach of over 40.5M users across all platforms, The media group boasts a global readership across Asia Pacific, North America, Europe and more, with the flagship platform available in five languages. The group has expanded its publishing brands to a wider scope in recent years, encompassing Hypebeast and its multiple content distribution platforms, e-commerce store HBX and agency HYPEMAKER. HYPEBEAST is looking for an Associate Creative Director to lead the creative ideation, strategy and execution for branded pitches, campaigns and the expansion of HYPEBEAST’s Creative Department in Europe. Excellent Art Direction, an immaculate taste level and design eye are vital, as well as being a confident and capable leader who’s able to succeed in delivering a diverse range of creative projects. You’ll be reporting directly to the Creative Director and working closely with other department leads to deliver industry- leading creative.


    • Leading and mentoring a passionate, talented team of Senior, Midweight and Junior Creatives.
    • Working with other departments to dissect and interrogate briefs from clients.
    • Oversee creative development of proposals that will win business.
    • Oversee Creative on productions that meet Hypebeast standards and client expectations.
    • Take responsibility for the creative output and quality of projects you and your team are across.
    • Manage inter-departmental relations to ensure smooth and efficient working practices that deliver the best results.


    • 5+ years of creative experience in agencies, publishers, brands etc. that are relevant to Hypebeast’s cultural space.
    • A portfolio of successful creative work in a diverse range of formats and sectors. 
    • A confident communicator and leader who’s able to foster and direct talent.
    • Solid understanding/experience of production costs and industry standards to help manage expectations both internally and externally.
    • Wide understanding and affinity with the various platforms Hypebeast operates on, both established and emerging.
    • Keen awareness and passion for Hypebeast’s cultural space. Be an ambassador for the brand.
    • Proficient with Keynote and Adobe Suite.
