Hypebeast Ltd. started from a sneaker website founded by Kevin Ma in 2005 to a publicly listed media company in 2016. With a total reach of over 44.6M users across all platforms, The media group boasts a global readership across Asia Pacific, North America, Europe and more, with the flagship platform available in 5 languages. The group has expanded its publishing brands to a wider scope in recent years, encompassing Hypebeast and its multiple content distribution platforms, HBX, our e-commerce and retail platform and Hypemaker, our global agency.

HYPEMOON, one of Hypebeast’s newer publishing brands, began in 2021 tapping into the emerging ecosystem in Web 3.0. At HYPEMOON, we are pushing the boundaries of culture in the new frontiers of blockchain technology. Not only do we cover all topics from the metaverse to decentralized finance, but we also intend to build our community and experiment together. The ideal candidate has an understanding of blockchain technology, experience working with artist communities, and is passionate about enabling the creator economy.

Responsibilities:

    • Plan, develop and deliver high-quality, engaging, original content on multi-channels to promote NFT launches and marketing initiatives
    • Manage content calendar and continually optimize content (including blog & academy articles, FAQ articles, announcements but not limited to) to drive traffic, engagement and brand promotion
    • Oversee production of creative assets (either personally or by vendor) & craft messaging to drive community engagement & adoption of the NFT projects
    • Support & ideate on the creative strategy/narrative with brand partners; providing initial concepts & iteration reviews
    • Support Hypebeast Public Relations initiatives, driving a positive brand narrative and fostering the voice, values, and culture
    • Develop an analytical framework to measure and report on the performance of community marketing initiatives

Ideal Candidate:

    • You take initiative
    • There is no task too small, teamwork mindset and ethic
    • You understand that to begin, you will be required to ask questions and take action
    • You understand the big picture, but still sweat the details: you can manage complex projects that spam multiple teams and relationships (and catch the spelling mistake in this bullet point on the first read)
    • Three (3) or more years of relevant community management experience with demonstrated success
    • Interest in metaverse and NFT concepts. Participation in an NFT project as a community is a huge plus
    • Involvement in Creator/Artist Communities & understanding of creatives OR ability to produce art/graphics/assets is a huge plus
The Community Manager, Web 3.0 role salary typically ranges from $72,000 to $87,000, plus discretionary bonus compensation. Your actual compensation will be determined based on your skills, qualifications, and experience
