Responsibilities:

    • Help departments make the jump from data to insights by defining analytic questions of interest, measures and dimensions, and measurement methods. 
    • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets consisting of transactional, web, and other types of data.
    • Apply models, data mining, and segmentation techniques to extract insights from our datasets.
    • Translate findings into workable strategies and present them as visualizations or reports.
    • Maintain regular performance dashboards and reports. 
    • Add and maintain our knowledge base. 
    • Regular industry and competitor research. Translating research into workable insight.

Requirements:

    • 2+ years of working experience in retail and e-commerce business and analysis is preferred.
    • Understand growth funnels, acquisition and how to measure them. Understand marketing attribution and advertising tools (e.g. Adwords, Facebook Ads, GDN).
    • Proficient in SQL, can use Python for data analysis.
    • Proficient with PowerBI, Google Data Studio or Tableau at an advanced level.
    • In-depth understanding of web-analytic tools, such as Google Analytics.
    • Experience with data platforms such as DMP, CDP is preferred
    • Good understanding of WeChat, Weibo, Douyin and other key Chinese social media platforms is preferred.
    • Able to possess a strong sense of ownership, adaptive to change.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills and ability to coordinate, develop and implement cross-departmental projects.
