The group has expanded its publishing brands to a wider scope in recent years, encompassing Hypebeast and its multiple content distribution platforms, HBX, our e-commerce and retail platform, and Hypemaker, our global agency. We are looking for a Mid-Weight Designer who is passionate about all things digital and has a proven track record of creating exceptional digital experiences. This opportunity will enable them to work with some of the world's biggest brands and be part of a hugely influential cultural platform.

Responsibilities:

    • Solve problems and design innovative solutions for websites, apps, digital activations, display ads and other digital mediums.
    • Develop design treatments and be able to develop the visual direction for projects.
    • Work closely with the design and creative team to contribute to creative concepts, as well as visualizing them and producing flawless presentation assets. 
    • Produce motion graphics for campaigns to run on our social channels.
    • Work across multiple projects at the same time and be able to produce high standards of finished work in a timely manner.
    • Present work to internal teams as well as externally to clients.
    • Maintain a superior knowledge of the latest technology.

Requirements:

    • 2-4 years of experience working in a design-related field.
    • Exceptional portfolio of digital designs.
    • Experience working across a wide range of design disciplines, with a focus on digital design.
    • Strong understanding of typography, colour and layout.
    • Know how to develop visual direction and concepts for advertising campaigns.
    • Experience with design applications e.g. Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, XD), Figma and Keynote.
    • Knowledge of no-code software such as Weblow is preferred.
    • An understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript is a bonus.
    • A passion for innovation and discovering the latest digital trends and technologies.
    • Understanding of street culture/Hypebeast background, and/or fashion work experience is highly preferred.
