Icertis is seeking to hire a proven engineering leader who will manage a talented team of engineers who develop and support the core components that enable the ICI platform.  This leader should be steeped in best practices and processes to drive excellence and productivity across all engineering teams at iCertis.
The individual will be a senior member of the management team, responsible for establishing competitive engineering strategies and translating those into a detailed delivery plan to build the next-generation platform. As such, this individual is responsible for implementing Icertis’ long-term engineering vision and plan, aligning resources, and delivery with ambitious business growth and diversification, while improving cost-effectiveness. As the organization continues to evolve and grow, the requirements and demands of customers in the form of new features must evolve congruently with the established core technology platform.

 This leader must have a strong understanding of the industry trends and competition in the world of SaaS products. They will inspire the team to deliver an industry-leading platform that enables the building of business-critical solutions and fosters the growth of the partner ecosystem to help deliver applications. They must have a proven track record of developing and motivating their direct reports and the larger org to achieve results.
Icertis is keen to add an experienced, innovative, and inspirational leader with strong enterprise software engineering experience to the product engineering team to lead product programs and improve the organization to the level required for consistent and predictable execution and delivery. They will exhibit an expert level of ownership and showcase full accountability for delivering the platform successfully meeting quality, security, performance, time, and budget.

This opportunity is open for Icertis Everywhere - Full time work from home and would not require relocation to Pune.

Responsibilities :

    • Manage, deliver and support the development of platform components that enable all Icertis products with strict release criteria and SLA’s around quality, security and performance that is scalable.
    • Build, retain and motivate high performing product engineering team
    • Maintain strategic customer relationships, serving as the platform expert for their implementations Help define, refine and review technical architecture and product roadmap by working closely with product management, engineering and field
    • Monitor and evolve high quality and efficient agile based engineering processes
    • Provide mentorship and support to engineering teams across iCertis for complex engineering problems, designs and support challenges 

Skills and Qualifications :

    • 20+ years of  relevant technology experience with focus on product development and enterprise solution delivery, with at least 5 years in leadership role.
    • Strong hands on experience, with ability to walk through engineering designs, challenge them and help the team evolve using a DevOps mindset
    • SaaS experience and/or Azure expertise is a plus
    • Excellence written and oral communication skills, with ability to connect to masses but sill deep rooted on the ground.
    • Good knowledge of enterprise scale web and mobile applications
    • Risk identification and Assessment as it relates to enterprise solutions.
