Aerospace Account Engineer

Ideagen (Saas solution provider) has a unique opportunity to align precision drawing and an engineering driven background (Aerospace preferred) to our Global Sales team and support our existing account base with sales support.

This role is an ideal fit for an individual with a background in engineering, looking to build relationships with clients and explore the sales function.

This position offers large growth potential to develop and maintain longterm relationships with long-term Ideagen customers while leveraging existing engineering and precision drawing knowledge. Sales methodology training and guidance will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

    • Contribute to building and delivering a consistent revenue stream through developing relationships directly with allocated customers via sales calls, meetings, precision drawing, proposal writing, and account management.  
    • Utilize exisiting Aerospace or engineering knowledge to connect with and build relationships with our customers.
    • Work to expand relationships and introduce new products to clients, researching the needs of the organization and understand their buying processes.
    • Prioritize key business initiatives relating to your role to achieve results.
    • Understand and qualify needs and identify the decision makers within those organizations.
    • Ensure sales and customer relationship management systems are continually and accurately updated.
    • Providing a fantastic customer experience through quality customer contact and support.

Skills & Experience

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and orally.
    • Experience in the Aerospace Quality Manufacturing Domain or comparable engineering degree.
    • Exposure to precision drawing with CAD or other comparable systems.
    • Strong working knowledge of IT and business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce).
    • An interest in Sales and a desire to continually learn, pick up new skills and increase your knowledge.
    • Ability to articulate technical solutions in a concise and polished manner to a diverse audience and must be comfortable and effective when talking with a broad range of decision influencers and decision makers within an organization. 
    • Possess a "self-starter" mentality and drive in their professional attitude.
    • Detail oriented and demonstrate a strong work ethic and be driven to achieve sales goals.
    • Experience with client relationships and multiple stakeholders.
