The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Middle Purchasing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our procurement function. Your role will involve maintaining accurate records of purchased goods, negotiating with vendors, ensuring on-time delivery, and serving as a point of contact for purchase requests.

What You Will Do

    • Offer professional procurement support to internal requesters and stakeholders, assisting them throughout the procurement process
    • Ensure the quality and completeness of data for incoming purchase requests
    • Process purchase requests, verifying their validity and compliance with procurement and other company policies
    • Negotiate pricing and delivery conditions with vendors, aiming for the best terms
    • Monitor and ensure on-time delivery of orders to the correct destination
    • Act as an escalation point for incidents related to delivery, vendors, or automated systems
    • Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of procurement policies, procedures, projects, and associated training plans
    • Assist the Head of Procurement with consultation, documentation, organizational tasks, and reporting activities

What We Look For

    • At least 2 years of proven experience in purchasing and procurement, or at least 1 year in IT procurement
    • Upper intermediate (B2) English language level
    • Familiarity with procurement software, ERP systems, and task management tools
    • Knowledge of procurement standards, approaches, and best practices
    • Analytical mindset and attention to detail
    • Strong communication skills
    • Conflict management skills
    • Basic negotiation skills
    • Team player

Nice To Have

    • Advanced (C1) English language level
    • Experience with modern ERP and procurement systems
    • Knowledge of accounting in terms of required documents and risk management
    • Understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk
    • Familiarity with procurement-relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
    • Change management skills
    • Knowledge of advanced negotiation tactics
    • Experience working with multi-location and multi-cultural teams
    • Knowledge of ISO and SOC2 standards in procurement
