The Role

The Sales team has been a driving force behind our impressive 30%+ year-over-year growth, consistently generating millions in revenue. We are seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Trainer to maximize the performance and effectiveness of our Sales Team.

We seek someone as passionate about people development as we are about growth and innovation. In this role, you will collaborate to diagnose skills gaps, design targeted training programs, and equip the Revenue team with behaviors, mindsets and capabilities to uplift individual excellence. By cultivating high performers, you will foster a culture that accelerates business growth and value for iDeals and clients.

We’re looking for candidates based in the specific countries of EMEA: the UK, Spain, Poland or Portugal.

What You Will Do

    • Collaborate with sales leaders to assess training needs and identify areas for improvement 
    • Design and develop comprehensive training curricula covering both soft and hard skills essential for sales success, including negotiation techniques, objection handling, product knowledge, and customer relationship management
    • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars utilizing a variety of training delivery methods
    • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to provide personalized feedback and support to sales representatives, helping them develop their skills and overcome job-related challenges
    • Act as a consultant to salespeople, offering guidance on best practices, strategies for success, and techniques for enhancing sales performance
    • Facilitate role-playing exercises and simulations to provide hands-on practice and reinforce learning outcomes
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales organization, promoting participation in training initiatives and providing ongoing support and encouragement
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales leadership, enablement, performance analytics to ensure alignment of training efforts with business objectives
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through the analysis of sales metrics, performance data, and feedback from sales representatives and stakeholders
    • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and innovations in sales training and incorporate relevant insights into training programs to enhance their impact

What We Look For

    • 5+ years of experience in B2B Sales (Field Sales, Inbound Sales, Business Development, Customer Success Management, etc.)
    • 5+ years of direct training and SaaS experience crucial
    • Experience delivering group training and 1:1 sessions
    • Excellent communication (written/verbal) and negotiation skills
    • Fluency in English (C2)

Nice To Have

    • Proven expertise in upselling and cross-selling, enterprise sales experience
    • Knowledge of sales methodologies (MEDICC, BANT, SPIN, The Challenger etc.)
    • Financial background, knowledge of key players and market trends
    • Fluency in Spanish or Italian
Our Interview Process

We believe in competency-based interviews combined with work samples and we share clear expectations for each element. Our interview assignments simulate what it's like to work at iDeals and the type of tasks you'll tackle. Here are the stages of the interview process for this role:

• Screening call with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (45 mins)
• Hiring Manager interview (30 mins)
• Writing task submission (3-4 hours, take-home task)
• Role Play and Presentation interview (60 mins)
• Competency-based interview with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (90 mins)
