IAM Authentication Business Analyst is responsible for the use and integration of identity and access management tools such as (Ping Identity Cloud, SecureAuth,) and protocols such as (SAML, OIDC) to support authentication user journeys for employees, vendors, and clients. The candidate must have strong familiarity with IAM concepts such as enabling multifactor authentication, single sign on, federation, and an understanding of customer identity and access management vs workforce access management.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for select products and/or processes
- Ensure risks associated with these products and/or processes are documented and addressed within risk and compliance policies and procedures
- Create, maintain, and share complex business flow diagrams such as process maps, data flows, lists of controls, and test cases
- Complete timely reviews for items requiring routine updates such as disclosures, business flow diagrams, controls, RIM-maintained files, and vendor scorecards
- Perform impact analysis and share findings to help inform priority decisions and accelerate feature and user story definition and refinement
- Compile and interpret data to generate insights around potential challenges and opportunities
- Partner with developers to ensure a thorough understanding of the relevant user stories and any viability constraints such as Legal, Compliance or RIM
- Collaborate to assess the metrics that will be necessary to measure the progress and impact of an effort and how the data will be obtained
- Provide input to developers, engineers and testing resources concerning potential test scenarios needed to ensure a solution fully meets the challenge and constraints
- Collaborate with testing resources, as needed, in identifying the optimal testing plan across various environments for a given solution
- Assist the agile team in the execution of testing as needed by the team
- Collaborate with the appropriate teams to ensure communication and change management needs are addressed
- Ensure the appropriate measurement and monitoring is in place to gauge the success of relevant products and processes
- Assist the agile team in identifying and execution testing as needed by the team
- Organize high level requirements gathering meetings, high level PPT creation (at the direction of stakeholders)
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- This position will require strong stakeholder management skills to accelerate the migration of legacy access management applications to the future state Ping AIC solution.
- Additional skills that will help ensure success in the role is the use of and familiarity with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, PowerBI, LeanIX, Splunk, Excel, Visio, and Zoom Whiteboard/Mural.
- The candidate must be a thought leader in the identity space.
