The Opportunity
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring digital marketing campaigns across various online platforms to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing channels and analytics, account-based marketing, sales cycles, along with the ability to create and optimize effective campaigns. Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, gritty execution, and a data-driven approach to driving digital growth for the company.
Responsibilities
- Digital Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with the company's overall marketing and business objectives. Remain current with industry trends, competitive activities and best practices to implement a high-functioning digital marketing program.
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing campaigns across channels such as email, social media, search engines, content marketing, display advertising, and more. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns for better performance and ROI.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with key sales and delivery stakeholders as well as marketing creative to ensure efforts are supporting the development of decks and data-sheets. Implement processes, KPIs and reporting that integrates with sales processes.
- Lead Management and Optimization: Work closely with Marketing leadership and RevOps to manage and report on MQLs, upload and manage lead lists, and implement nurture campaigns for conversion optimization. Develop and manage the lead funnel relating to digital marketing.
- Content Marketing: Coordinate and execute content marketing efforts, including creating and distributing valuable and relevant content through blogs, articles, videos, infographics, white papers etc. Develop and manage a content calendar that coordinates all digital and event-based activities.
- Events and Execution: Support the Director of Events Marketing on event and field marketing activities such as coordinated digital campaigns, content development and lead management.
- Website Management: Help manage the company's website and ensure it is up to date, user-friendly, brand-aligned, and optimized for SEO. Collaborate with web developers, digital experts, writers, designers and key stakeholders to implement necessary updates and improvements.
- Social Media Management: Develop and manage the company's presence on social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram. Create engaging content, respond to comments and inquiries, and track social media metrics to assess performance.
- Email Marketing: Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to acquire sales-qualified leads and nurture existing clientele. Spin-up email campaigns that coincide with strategic initiatives surrounding our ideal customer profiles across specific industries. Monitor email performance metrics and optimize campaigns for better engagement and conversion rates.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of all digital marketing activities. Prepare regular reports with actionable insights for the marketing team and management.
- Copywriting: Create compelling email copy, advertising messaging, social media posts, pitch materials such as decks and one-sheets, and employee communications via various internal channels.
- Other: Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist or a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Entrepreneurship or related industry experience.
- Proven experience in B2B services marketing.
- Possesses entrepreneurial grit and brings energy to the role and department.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced marketing and sales environment.
- Ability to use AI effectively for marketing purposes.
- Experience integrating AI into processes is a big plus.
- IAM industry experience is an asset, otherwise has a strong inclination to learn.
- Proven ability to manage a pipeline of multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Deep understanding of digital advertising operations on Search and Social.
- Experience understanding of SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in managing and reporting KPIs.
- Proficiency in developing sales and marketing pitch materials with the help of creative.
- Demonstrated experience using analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in using platforms such as / similar to GA4, Salesforce, Account Engagement, ZoomInfo, Outreach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and is open to feedback and growth.

- Stays up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies and best practices to enhance strategies.
