Description de poste / About the job
- Concevoir les décors et accessoires qui serviront de référence aux départements de 3D comme le modeling et le layout.
- Interpréter correctement les concepts 2D du production designer.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les réalisateurs et le directeur artistique.
- Design sets and props which will be used as references by 3D departments such as Modeling and Layout.
- Accurately interpret 2D concepts from Production designer.
- Work closely with Art Director and Directors.
Pré-requis / Must have
- Compétences artistiques en design, couleur, perspective et composition.
- Maîtrise avancée de Photoshop.
- Connaissance du logiciel Maya.
- Artistic skills in design, color, perspective and composition.
- Proficiency of Photoshop.
- Knowledge of Maya software.
Un petit plus / Nice to have
- Des connaissances en histoire de l’art et en architecture.
- Expérience dans le long-métrage appréciée.
- Background in art history and architecture.
- Experience in a animated feature film.
Votre profil / About you
- Maîtrise du français et/ou de l’anglais.
- Aisance relationnelle
- Capacité à travailler en équipe, à hiérarchiser les tâches et à respecter les échéances.
- Disponible pour un poste à Paris (pas de télétravail possible).
- Nous privilégions les candidatures des européens ou des candidats ayant un permis de travail français. Le processus d’obtention de visa étant complexe et prenant du temps, seuls les candidats avec une expérience significative seront considérés, pour certains rôles uniquement.
- French and/or English fluency is required
- Good communication skills and ability to take notes and directions.
- Ability to work within a team, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Available in Paris – No remote work
- We favor European Union citizens or candidates with French work permit. The process of obtaining a visa being so complex and timeconsuming, only foreign candidates with a significative experience will be considered, for a selection of senior jobs.
Conseils portfolio / Portfolio tips
- Les candidats doivent avoir un très bon dessin et un très bon sens de la perspective, mais ils doivent également avoir une connaissance basique de Maya.
- On se base sur un portfolio en noir et blanc généralement pour le Set Design.
- N'hésitez pas à ajouter vos croquis, des projets variés et différents styles, tout en ajoutant des projets qui ressemblent au style de notre studio
- Candidates should have a very good drawing and sense of perspective, but they should also have a basic knowledge of Maya.
- At Illumination, Set Design is generally based on a black-and-white portfolio.
- Feel free to add your sketches, various projects and different styles, as well as projects that resemble our studio's style.
