As an intern in the Illumination Academy you will take part in cross company learning, work alongside studio executives, and have a seat at the table in our latest endeavors. 
Illumination is seeking an Animation Marketing Intern for the Spring 2020 semester to work closely with our Creative Director in marketing on animation projects. If you are someone that is creative, has a passion for animating, can think on a global scale, and likes to make people laugh then this is the internship for you! 


    • Develop animations for Illumination Marketing campaigns
    • Create internal and external media graphic materials
    • Collaborate with Creative Director on style, design, concepts, proportions, character expressions, and movement
    • Clean up colors
    • In-between animation
    • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
    • Research marketing materials
    • Other tasks as assigned


    • Availability to work 20-40 hours per week
    • Must be available for a minimum of 12 weeks
    • Must be enrolled in an accredited, degree-granting school with a minimum GPA of a 3.0
    • Preferred major: Animation
    • Demonstrated skill and knowledge of Flash, Photoshop, and Illustrator
    • Ability to take creative direction and incorporate feedback into revised work
