We are looking for an experienced People Operations Manager to ensure that all human resources (HR) operations are carried on smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on all related subjects. You must be an experienced professional with deep knowledge of all matters concerning HR departments. You should be able to manage programs and lead staff while also possessing a strong strategic mindset. The goal is to ensure that all HR needs at IMMO are being met and are aligned with all business objectives.

What You Will Be Doing

    • Act to support the human factor at IMMO by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development etc.
    • Lead and manage a small but extremely productive People Operations team
    • Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and manage the process effectively
    • Build drive and own HR policies
    • Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
    • Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
    • Provide reporting by analysing data and using HR metrics; including building out the People Operations Dashboard

What You Will Bring to the Role

    • Prior experience within People Operations or HR related role
    • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations across Europe
    • Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices
    • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
    • A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Role Competencies

    • HR Technical Experience: We are a small but growing People Operations team and require someone with deep domain experience within People / HR role that can really help us to build a world class people function
    • Problem Solving: As we are a growing start up we have a lot of problems that we require to solve within the People Department from looking at our compensation philosophy, how we run our performance reviews through to our onboarding processes for new joiners
    • Leadership: This role will immediately manage a small but expanding team and you will be required to drive best practices as well as ensure the team are motivated and perform well against their set OKRs
    • Stakeholder Management Skills: Within this role you will be required to build relationships and become the true people partner to them and their teams an ability to build relationships and have the comfort to say no when needed

The Interview Process

    • Recruiter Screen Call: with one of our recruiters to understand your background and experience in more detail as well as motivations
    • Hiring Manager Call: a call with the hiring manager to understand your technical skills in more detail as well as assess your alignment from a culture and team fit perspective
    • Panel Interview: a meeting with a number (max 5 depending on level) with a broader number of interviewers that will assess you on set competencies for the role, these will take place either back to back or split over a couple of days depending on diaries
    • Culture Interview: a deep dive into IMMO values with someone that you will interact with but is not part of the same department
    • Hire Decision: once you have completed the process we will review all feedback and make a final decision with the aim to come back to you within 72 hours following the final interview
