About The Role 🤔
In 2009 the bitcoin network came into existence, creating an entirely new asset class - digital assets. Since then, the asset class has exploded, reaching an all time high of almost $3 trillion and sitting at $2.5 trillion as of March 2024. Immutable itself holds more than a billion dollars worth of digital assets on its balance sheet and there are multiple billions of dollars worth of digital assets in the Immutable ecosystem. We are actively searching for a dynamic Digital Asset Lead to become an integral part of our team here at Immutable.
As Digital Asset Lead, your mission will be to steward and develop the fungible digital asset ecosystem around Immutable. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of a megatrend and build unique expertise in this exciting new asset class.
You’ll Be Empowered To 🎮 :
- Lead the day to day operations of a multi billion dollar Digital Asset and coordinate the roadmap across Product, Marketing, Commercial and Finance
- Build lasting relationships with digital asset product providers and research houses, enhancing their awareness and consideration of gaming tokens
- Initiate and execute projects that enhance the decentralisation, growth, and governance of web3 gaming
- Develop digital asset allocation strategies and approve spends of up to $25k USD to cost efficiently grow the ecosystem
- Speak with market participants and token holders to identify best practice and build customer empathy
- Conduct data analysis and research to generate insights on new narratives and how to better manage the token
We'd Love You To Bring 🤝 :
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a top-tier financial services, legal or management consultant firm
- Incredible commercial acumen with high market awareness, entrepreneurial spirit, and a results-driven attitude
- The ability to establish and nurture relationships with institutional clients, understanding their goals and drivers
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills in crafting compelling and logical narratives, with the ability to influence researchers and win mindshare
- Your critical thinking capability to identify key data points and develop core themes
- Mission alignment: We don’t expect you to have pre-existing work experience in web3, but you must be interested in learning about decentralisation and digital ownership

This role will sit with the Tokens Team.
