Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to manage order processing and logistics coordination. The candidate will oversee customer order workflows, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, and drive resolutions for customer-related issues. This role involves collaborating with internal and external partners, including sales, finance, and third-party logistics providers, to optimize order processes and meet a high fill order rate. The role is great for an early-career professional to learn operational ropes in a dynamic supply chain.

Essential Job Functions:

    • Ensure loads are tendered to carriers, shipping and delivery appointments are booked in a timely manner, and issues with internal and external customers are proactively communicated.
    • Consolidate weekly order deliveries.
    • Manage order processing workflow for customers and co-manufacturers, including order confirmations and order revisions.
    • Enter customer orders into SAP as needed.
    • Serve as the contact for order revisions, delivery updates, and appointment changes.
    • Provide status updates for specific orders as requested.
    • Coordinate and oversee daily domestic freight shipment operations, including all communication with carriers via TMS.
    • Interact daily with buyers to adjust PO dates in alignment with carrier shipping schedules and lead times.
    • Arrange expedited deliveries in case of unexpected delays or issues.
    • Ensure carrier compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Ensure Proof of Deliveries (PODs) are submitted by carriers.
    • Drive resolution of customer-related issues with internal and external business partners.
    • Act as the point of contact for field sales, sales operations, and finance teams for order inquiries.
    • Serve as an escalation point for external and internal customer feedback.
    • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, logistics, or a related field.
    • Broad understanding of policies, processes, and systems relating to order management and/or desire to learn.
    • Customer service mentality.
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
    • Conversant in spreadsheets with a desire to learn.
    • Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration.
    • Self-starter with the ability to drive cross-functional projects.
    • Commitment to process improvement.
    • Experience and ability to work independently as a member of a virtual team.

$20.67 - $26.45 an hour
This U.S. based, full-time position offers the above base salary range + equity + benefits + bonus plan. 
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
