The Manager, Client Analytics is responsible for leading and developing a team of 4-6 analysts responsible for demonstrating the value of Included Health to our clients and partners as part of our broader Client Insights team. Your team is responsible for digging into multiple different types of data and thinking strategically about how we can best communicate the value we’re delivering for specific client populations in a scalable and repeatable manner. In order to be effective in this role, you will need to develop a deep understanding of our products and services, the markets we serve and their distinct needs, and the technical architecture of our data platform. In particular, you’ll be challenged to lead our efforts in automating and scaling the delivery of insights to internal and external stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead a team of 4-6 analysts who focus on the automation and scaling of insightful client reporting, and who also support our clients and internal Go-to-Market (GTM) teams with analytic expertise
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to bring analytical partnership and a data informed perspective to a broad range of discussions focused on driving business impact
    • Influence best practices, drive process improvement, and mentor analysts within the Client Analytics and Client Insights teams
    • Establish and track progress toward goals with your direct reports, providing individualized support to maintain engagement, work through roadblocks, and reprioritize as needed
    • Participate in the development and execution of team wide initiatives in support of Client Insights goals aligned to our roadmap as well as those of our business partners
    • Actively participate on the Client Insights leadership team, helping guide strategy and roadmapping
    • Develop clear written documentation to guide approach for developing new solutions or processes such as report automation, dashboard development, metric development, novel analysis, or data modeling
    • Lead the recruitment and hiring for any open positions that directly report to you in consultation with the Senior Manager, Client Analytics

Qualifications:

    • 2+ years leading analytics professionals in a manager or team lead role preferred
    • 6+ years experience delivering business value through analytics or reporting
    • Experience leading data and analytics-focused discussion with clients and executive audiences on topics such as presentation of program results and detailed analysis methodology walkthroughs
    • Experience with employer-sponsored healthcare, and with the use of healthcare-related data (e.g., claims, eligibility, product data, clinical data) to develop and deliver insights
    • Ability to build relationships with key partners, provide input to long-term analytic roadmaps, and coach teams on analytic competency development
    • Remarkable written communication skills are critical in our distributed remote environment where asynchronous communication is critical for producing results
    • Consistent judgment and decision making in the interest of driving your team to pursue the highest expected value work
    • Experience leading a remote or hybrid team and having managed through the challenges of interpersonal relationship development, communication, and alignment that come with the flexibility and productivity of the environment

Preferred tool experience:

    • Expert level proficiency with SQL
    • Significant experience with Python for automation and data analysis
    • Building dashboards in Looker (preferred), Power BI, Tableau, or similar
    • Work management, documentation, and communication using Jira, Confluence, and Slack

Physical/Cognitive Requirements:

    • Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.
    • Ability to work shifts of at least 8 hours, 5 days per week.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment.
    • Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
    • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
    • No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.
    • Ability to interact with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.
The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:

Zone A: $132,400 - $196,975 + equity + benefits  
Zone B: $110,300 - $164,150 + equity + benefits  

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for candidates based on their respective Zone. Below is additional information on Included Health's commitment to maintaining transparent and equitable compensation practices across our distinct geographic zones.

Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation based on their roles and locations. In addition to earning a base salary, this role is eligible for a performance-based bonus. Details of the Annual Bonus Plan, including performance metrics, target incentives, and potential earnings, will be discussed during the interview process.
