The remote Virtual Primary Care RN Supervisor (Registered Nurse) is a role that will assist the Service Line and Clinical Managers in overseeing and leading the day-to-day operations of the Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Medical Assistants working on our Primary Care team. Central to this role will be ensuring clinical accuracy and quality, while maintaining key performance indicators.  This role will mostly be administrative, but with the expectation of supporting the needs of the team during periods of surge or unexpected low headcount. Position will have direct management responsibilities for RNs, LPNs, and CMAs 

Schedule: Monday - Friday
Shift: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PST (Pacific Standard Timezone)

Essential Job Duties:

    • This role will mostly be administrative, but with the expectation of supporting the needs of the team such as managing cases and tasks queues during periods of surge or unexpected low headcount.   
    • Provide workflow management, guidance, coaching, and display subject matter expertise to provide thorough support for the team 
    • Demonstrate thorough understanding of and monitor service levels and performance guarantees on a daily basis 
    • Provide training, support, technical and clinical leadership to team members
    • Assist the VPC leadership team in workflow enhancement changes, pilot projects, quality reviews, individual and team coaching, and tracking data/outcomes
    • Monitor attendance and schedule adherence and ensure staffing levels are met and maintained for daily coverage requirements
    • Meet 1:1 monthly with direct reports for ongoing review of productivity, quality review and professional development as well as provide performance feedback and ensure engagement with the practice
    • Assist the training and quality team in onboarding and call/case reviews, as needed
    • Serve as the first point of contact for workflow questions/clarifications and complex cases including escalations
    • Assist the clinical team with day-to-day work and direct patient care, when needed
    • Display focus towards continuous improvement, suggest alternative solutions, as well as new ideas that improve team productivity, workflows, member experience, and efficiency aligning directly with our company values and goals
    • Build relationships and foster community with the team 
    • Other duties as required/assigned

Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
    • Registered Nurse, currently residing and licensed in a compact state with eligibility to obtain RN licensure in more states
    • 5+ years of nursing experience as a Registered Nurse
    • 2+ years of experience in a Primary Care setting required
    • Supervisor/Managerial experience required
    • Experience with Athena EMR preferred
    • Ability to work in PST Timezone
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required
    • Previous quality and workflow management experience preferred
    • Data-driven and proficiency/comfort in using Google Sheets, templates, and other tools to evaluate and optimize the standardization of care across our growing team
    • Ability to be agile and balance multiple priorities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
    • Demonstrates professional, appropriate, effective, and tactful communication skills, including written, verbal and nonverbal
    • Strong ambition and internal drive is essential to this position

$87,750 - $120,662 a year
The United States base salary range for this full-time position is $87,750 - 120,662 + equity + benefits.

Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data.
