At Included Health, the Solutions Engineering team serves as the technical interface to our clients and partners. We translate our clients’ needs into great technical solutions within our business, and consistently exceed our partners’ already high expectations.

Today, our responsibilities span technical implementations of our products and services, configuration of healthcare plans and networks, healthcare data feed configuration and validation, defining and configuring reporting, Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations, comprehensive testing and validation, and more.

In the future, there are opportunities to drive impact to the business by improving the efficiency and quality of our implementations; working cross functionally with engineering and product leaders to improve the configuration models and workflows to implement our products; working cross functionally with sales and customer success leaders to solve customer problems during the sales process; and more.

The Role

Our ideal candidate has a wide breadth of technical experience and understanding, and applies good judgment to the quality of technical solutions and technical work performed by the team. They are strong project managers, able to improve execution across multiple projects being executed in parallel but also coach and teach strong project management skills to engineers. They have strong interpersonal skills, able to work cross functionally with technical and non-technical leadership to get to great business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

    • People leader: inspire, lead, hire, and develop an inclusive, highly engaged, and high performing Solutions Engineering team
    • Technical leader: coach, mentor, clearly articulate criteria that define high-quality solutions, design good processes that empower individuals and foster a culture of independence and enablement, and help the organization navigate technically complex problems to get to good, simple technical solutions
    • Owner: model responsibility and accountability for the team and organization, and maintain a high bar for solution quality
    • Connector: work cross-functionally to drive improvements and increase communication and collaboration across orgs
    • Career Champion: develop and grow the team’s skill-sets through coaching and mentoring

Qualifications:

    • Minimum 3+ years of Solutions Engineering leadership experience
    • Desire to excel and a high bar by which you evaluate the performance of a team
    • Ability to analyze data and identify business possibilities for better operational processes and business opportunities
    • Proven track record in leading high performing engineering teams and working closely with stakeholders
    • Experience building out programs and driving high impact projects and initiatives
    • Established pattern of success managing remote teams
    • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience
The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:

Zone A: $156,200- $232,400 + equity + benefits  
Zone B: $130,200 - $193,650 + equity + benefits  

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for candidates based on their respective Zone. Below is additional information on Included Health's commitment to maintaining transparent and equitable compensation practices across our distinct geographic zones.

Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation based on their roles and locations. In addition to earning a base salary, this role is eligible for a performance-based bonus. Details of the Annual Bonus Plan, including performance metrics, target incentives, and potential earnings, will be discussed during the interview process.
