What we’re doing
Did you know it takes a member of congress, on average, 45 days to respond to even the most basic constituent request? We view this as a fundamental breakdown in the UX of representative democracy and we're building a platform to fix it.

Indigov is a constituent relationship management suite for the modern representative. Our platform reduces average response times from weeks to minutes for 90% of incoming messages. After going through an exhaustive technical and legal review process with the House of Representatives, we recently closed our Series A and are live in hundreds of offices across federal, state, and local governments. We are expanding rapidly and need additional team members to join us in our pursuit to build the future of representative democracy.

We are a group of technologists and entrepreneurs passionate about increasing the efficiency of representative democracy for both representatives and those they serve. We have been executives, technicians, and leaders at institutions such as U.S. Congress, Google, Dropbox, USDS, as well as large e-commerce, digital-first media, civic and gov-tech companies.

What You'll Do

    • Support business development activities through advisory council, consisting of high-level advisors with extensive political networks
    • Help manage, organize and mobilize the most innovative and successful Advisor Network in Gov Tech
    • Interface with high profile regional and national elected officials, former elected officials and political operatives
    • Ensure that all Advisor network outreach operations and strategy are cataloged and optimized
    • Collect, manipulate and interpret data on progress toward overall sales goals
    • Manage active schedule of internal planning meetings, external outreach and product demos, full advisor team quarterly meetings
    • Help plan and support regular communication flow to advisors to inform, motivate and maximize value creation
    • Serve as deputy to current Advisor network manager and secondary POC for Advisor Network internally at Indigov and to external sales prospects
    • Support operational needs for the Sales and marketing teams, to support a thriving and high-performing team
    • Assist with other ad hoc business development initiatives as directed

About You

    • 2+ years work experience working in a highly collaborative, fast paced, professional environment-Ideal candidate should be well-organized, structure-focused, and thrives on follow through and execution
    • Self motivated / self directed
    • Ability to plan, coordinate and track engagement with potential clients
    • Strong interest and working knowledge of US government systems
    • Experience in engaging with government officials across the country
    • Exposure to advocacy work at the state or national levels
    • Ability to engage with high level political stakeholders
    • Highly organized, able to simultaneously keep many deals organized and maintain deal momentum
    • Ability to conduct top level, basic research to customize pitches to targets and facilitate top level strategy
    • Ability to maintain, manipulate and spot trends in sales process data
    • Strategic thinker with an ability to identify and manage opportunities for potential growth within the company by timely engagement with government institutions
    • Ability to plan, coordinate and track engagement with potential clients
    • Must be a collaborative team player who can smoothly integrate into rapidly growing sales team and larger company
