Job Description

The Finance Assistant is responsible for clerical and basic finance tasks in the Finance Division. They are expected to help with a variety of administrative tasks that support the success of the Finance Division including handling email requests, answering phone calls, helping with customer payments and more. This is a full-time position with hybrid and on-site opportunities available.

Responsibilities

    • Answering incoming calls from customers and employees
    • Receiving and distributing division mail
    • Handling general email inquiries
    • Assisting with maintaining accurate customer accounts
    • Posting customer payments
    • Reviewing daily orders
    • Assisting with the customer collections process
    • Creating and updating documents and spreadsheets as needed
    • Performing data entry tasks and creating reports
    • Keeping hard copy/electronic division files up to date and in order
    • Additional projects as needed

Requirements

    • At least one year in an administrative support role
    • Prefer an AA in Accounting or Finance
    • Proven communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
    • Possess a California driver's license
    • Proactive, eventually be able to anticipate administrative needs of the division
    • Strong focus on ensuring tasks and responsibilities are completed 100%, with good tracking and follow-up practices
$50,000 - $60,000 a year
Pay
Based on the Sacramento region, the new hires minimum and maximum target salary for this role is $50k - $60k. This role will be paid hourly.

Inductive Automation’s ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Although it is not typical for an individual to start at the top end of the range for the position, compensation decisions are dependent on: the facts and circumstances of each case, work location, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs.
