The Solar Partnerships Manager will have ownership of sourcing and managing major strategic partnerships to enhance the product offering and drive sales growth for our business, with a specific focus on the solar industry. You will be responsible for nurturing partner relationships, with a focus on building long-term, sustainable growth. As the main point of contact for all partners, you will demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. You will work cross-functionally with the Product and Marketing teams to ensure the largest opportunities are maximized.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and Evaluate Potential Partners: Identify and evaluate potential UK-based strategic partners in the solar industry to support the company's growth objectives. Develop and implement strategies to establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners.
- Negotiate and Finalize Agreements: Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements to ensure mutually beneficial terms. Ensure that agreements align with the company’s strategic goals and contribute to overall growth.
- Sales Acquisition Partnerships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sales-focused partnership opportunities into the overall growth strategy. Drive sales acquisition through partners by developing joint business plans, setting targets, and ensuring alignment with company goals. Monitor and analyze partner performance to optimize sales efforts and ensure target achievement.
- Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for partners, addressing any issues and fostering strong, long-term relationships. Conduct regular business reviews with partners to evaluate performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and align on future initiatives. Provide partners with the necessary training, support, and resources to maximize their effectiveness.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and new opportunities for strategic partnerships in the FinTech and solar sectors. Analyze partnership performance data to inform strategic decisions and improve partnership effectiveness. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sales partnership management.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive and coordinated partner initiatives. Track and report on key metrics to measure the success of partnership initiatives. Identify and resolve any challenges or roadblocks impacting partner relationships and sales efforts.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

    • Experience: Proven experience in a FinTech startup environment, with a focus on partnership development and management. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the solar industry, demonstrating a track record of developing successful partnerships.
    • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the solar industry, including key players, trends, and partnership opportunities. Knowledge of market dynamics and regulatory environment affecting the solar sector.
    • Partnership Skills: Strong track record in building and maintaining strategic partnerships, particularly in the UK market. Expertise in developing and executing sales acquisition strategies through partner channels.
    • Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Ability to engage and influence partners at all levels of the organization.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with various teams. Strong communication skills to coordinate efforts and ensure alignment with company goals.
    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics. Ability to derive insights from data to inform strategic decisions.
