GoodHire is looking for a Director, Product Marketing with the business acumen, creativity and drive to help the Company be recognized as a leader and preferred choice in the crowded employment background screening space. In this role you will be leading the Company’s product marketing efforts, with principal responsibility for leading overall go-to-market (GTM) efforts, proactively setting strategy for and managing all product portfolio communications, and driving sales & customer success enablement.

For over ten years, Inflection has sourced and analyzed billions of public records to create fair and innovative solutions to help companies make better and faster decisions about who they should hire and who they should trust. 

Our flagship business, GoodHire, currently provides employment screening solutions to more than 80,000 companies across the US. Launched in 2013, GoodHire has consistently led the market with our intuitive, thoughtful, and user-focused designs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Develop a deep understanding of the Company’s product portfolio and take the lead on influencing decisions regarding changes/enhancements to the portfolio, leveraging data to make your recommendations
    • Develop compelling positioning & messaging for GoodHire that differentiates us in the market, and resonates with prospects & customers
    • Communicate the value proposition and develop training and tools that support the selling process for Sales, Customer Success & Partner teams
    • Drive Go-To-Market strategy, including planning the launch of new products and releases and managing the cross-functional implementation of the plan
    • Lead Voice of Customer efforts -- be the expert on our buyers & customers, uncovering insights that lead to breakthrough messaging, well-defined target audiences & buyer personas and improvements in the Company’s product/market fit
    • Serve as internal expert on competitors’ product portfolios and market moves, using your insights to influence sales strategies and product planning
    • Develop and nurture customer relationships to develop references, drive case studies, and cultivate brand champions

YOU'LL BE A FANTASTIC MATCH FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU BRING:

    • 8+ years of progressive product marketing experience, including demonstrated success positioning & promoting B2B products, especially in a crowded category
    • Strong project management skills, ability to inspire cross-functional teams, spearhead complex plans, and present with ease to wide-ranging audiences, including internal stakeholders, webinars, trainings and industry events
    • Highly effective listening and critical thinking skills with deep customer empathy
    • Natural storytelling skills with a gift for writing and ability to create compelling content that speaks to customer pain points
    • Track record of successful product launches and proven ability to work productively with Product, Sales, Customer Success and Support teams
    • Ability to thrive in fast-paced work environments, juggle multiple initiatives successfully and show adeptness at leveraging data to inform recommendations
    • Demonstrated ability to be both strategic and hands-on with a bias for action
    • MBA preferred, but not required
