About This Position:
As a Senior Intelligence Visualization Analyst at INflow Federal, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing national defense strategy by supporting a strategic joint force division. Your work will directly inform senior decision-makers through the production of strategic assessments and realistic threat portrayals that shape future force development and capability investments.
In this role, you will serve as a technical and analytical lead in designing, developing, and delivering intelligence data visualization tools and products for senior stakeholders. Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, curated datasets, and analytic tools using Tableau, SharePoint, and other visualization platforms.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract, join, and aggregate data from multiple systems and authoritative sources.
- Prepare, clean, and transform raw datasets for analysis, ensuring data is structured and ready for visualization.
- Integrate data from multiple sources into cohesive, relational formats that support analysis and decision-making.
- Conduct rigorous quality control and validation of all data products, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and adherence to governance standards.
- Present data visualization products and analytical findings to senior leaders, tailoring content to varying levels of technical expertise.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for data visualization capabilities, advising leadership on opportunities to enhance analytic output.
- Advocate for data integrity and defend against premature release of incomplete or unverified information.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and emerging requirements, producing rapid-turn deliverables without compromising accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and interagency partners to enhance data sharing, maintain relationships, and integrate diverse datasets.
- Provide mentorship, training, and knowledge transfer to team members on visualization tools, SQL querying, and data integration practices.
Required Experience
- Master’s degree preferred. Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, National Security, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in intelligence operations, analysis, or collection management for the DoD.
- Proven experience in integrating multi-source data and creating actionable intelligence products.
- Proficiency in Tableau, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and other visualization/analysis tools.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, joining, and aggregating data from multiple systems and authoritative sources.
- Strong briefing skills with experience engaging senior military, government, or executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to data governance, validation, and interagency coordination.
- Ability to operate under pressure and deliver accurate results on tight timelines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with additional analytics platforms (e.g., Qlik, Advana) and relational data modeling.
- Familiarity with multi-domain intelligence disciplines (GEOINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, etc.).
- Instructional or training experience in data visualization or intelligence-related topics.
