ABOUT THIS POSITION:

As a Sr Systems Engineer at INflow Federal, you'll be at the heart of our mission to empower DoD customers with cutting-edge technical solutions. Your expertise will not only pave the way for innovative data management and infrastructure but also drive our commitment to data modernization and cyber resilience. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Contributes to completion of specific engineering programs and projects
    • Develops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems
    • Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology
    • Coaches, provide guidance, and unblocks less-experienced professionals in their tasks
    • Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time
    • Works with the team to plan future sprints, define stories and estimate efforts
    • Prepares and produces releases of software components
    • May serve as a team or task lead

Required Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other business-related field
    • Expert in Python language (or similar)
    • Strong experience building and working with container images (Kubernetes, Docker)
    • Strong understanding of DevSecOps and software/application development processes
    • Experience deploying to RedHat Openshift Container Platform
    • Experience writing infrastructure as code (Helm/Terraform)
    • Experience with utilizing CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus
    • Experience with deploying to on prem/data center infrastructure
    • Experience using Jira and Confluence on a daily basis
    • Demonstrated ability to creatively solve technical problems
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a small team

Desired Skills:

    • Experience with ElasticSearch, GoLang
    • Experience with GraphDBs (Neo4j/RedisGraph)
    • Experience with Messaging Systems (NATS Jetstream/Pulsar)

Required Clearance:

    • Active DoD TS/SCI (with ability to obtain CI poly)
