ABOUT THIS POSITION:
INflow Federal, a leading solutions integrator for the Department of Defense (DoD), is seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. Our mission is to blend the power of humans and machines to solve complex problems faced by our government partners daily. We are dedicated to providing robust solutions that incorporate advanced analytics, data integration, and processing within secure and robust infrastructures.
This role requires proficiency in specific geospatial and statistical software tools (QT Modeler, ArcGIS, QGIS, Matlab), programming in Python, and expertise in fields crucial to geospatial science and analytics (Geodesy, GIS, Photogrammetry, Precision metrics, LiDAR, Understanding of Statistics).
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using GIS software tools such as QT Modeler, ArcGIS, QGIS, and Matlab.
- Develop and optimize algorithms and models in Python to solve complex geospatial problems.
- Apply expertise in geodesy, GIS, photogrammetry, and precision metrics to enhance the accuracy and reliability of geospatial data analysis.
- Utilize LiDAR data and other remote sensing technologies to support various geospatial projects.
- Conduct statistical analysis to validate models and data processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial solutions into broader defense and security projects.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in geospatial science, programming, and related fields.
Preferred Experience
- Demonstrated experience with GIS software (QT Modeler, ArcGIS, QGIS) and Matlab.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Deep understanding of geodesy, GIS, photogrammetry, precision metrics, and LiDAR technologies.
- Solid foundation in statistical analysis and its application in geospatial data processing.
Experience and Clearance Requirements:
- Senior level experience (PhD + 7 years / Masters + 9 years / Bachelors + 12 years)
- TS/SCI required (CI poly will be required to start working)
$170,000 - $240,000 a year
