About This Position:
INflow Federal is seeking a highly skilled Cloud IaC Engineer with a DevSecOps focus to help architect, automate, and secure mission-critical cloud infrastructure for our federal customers. If you’re driven by innovation, automation, and secure deployments at scale, this role is for you.
You’ll join our Operations, Infrastructure, and Support Engineering team, taking ownership of designing, implementing, and maintaining tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) systems that power our automated deployment, release, and upgrade processes. Your contributions will directly influence cloud reliability, performance, and security in highly dynamic and sensitive environments.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Build automated CI/CD pipelines that support secure, repeatable cloud infrastructure deployments
- Participate in system design, architecture reviews, and performance tuning discussions
- Implement and manage configuration management tools to ensure consistent environments
- Automate routine processes to eliminate manual toil and improve operational efficiency
- Contribute to incident response efforts, conduct root cause analysis, and support blameless post-mortems
- Ensure all automation and infrastructure meets stringent security and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (at a minimum) with 5+ years of experience
- Experience working with appropriate scripting languages and operating systems software (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform or equivalent configuration management tools
- Should have flexibility in approach to finding solutions, ability to understand and act on the customer needs and priorities, and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Strong team building skills that enable collaboration and coordination within and across teams and functions
- Ability to automate menial tasks with an emphasis on security.
Desired Qualifications:
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration
- Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools like ArgoCD or Flux
- Experience integrating security tools (e.g., Snyk, Aqua, Twistlock) into CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of DoD cloud security requirements, compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53)
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk
- Exposure to secrets management tools such as HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager
- Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments
Clearance Requirements:
- TS/SCI
$140,000 - $200,000 a year

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
