Inkblot Therapy by GreenShield Health is a company that provides effective and affordable mental health solutions for individuals and organizations. Inkblot’s Specialized Services is looking to expand our provider resources. Specifically, we are actively recruiting masters-level practitioners with significant experience in Critical Incident Response to individuals and groups within an organization. 

Role Description: 

This Critical Incident Response role is a hybrid role with some requests being virtual and others on-site (depending the need). The role involves providing specialized clinical services to individuals and organizations experiencing critical incidents, such as natural disasters, violent crimes, and other traumatic events. As a contractor, the incumbent will be responsible for providing clinical responses, assessment, and short-term therapeutic intervention to support individuals and/or groups that have experienced a critical incident.


Qualifications:

    • Registered member and in good standing with one of the following: College of Psychologists, College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, or the College of Registered Psychotherapists
    • Minimum of a Master’s degree in your related field
    • Minimum of $2,000,000 in liability insurance coverage
    • Previous  experience providing critical incident stress debriefing and defusing in both a group and individual setting a must
    • Additional critical incident response certifications and/or training required or equivalent experience 
    • Ability to cope with high-stress and complex situations in a calm and professional manner

Clinical Qualifications/ Expectations

    • Experience and expertise in the areas of trauma, PTSD, critical incident response, and other related mental health issues. 
    • Excellent clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and case management skills.
    • Experience with workplace mental health is an asset.
    • Ability to work with diverse populations and an understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing demands of a fast-paced work environment

What will be expected of you:

    • Support for the prevention and minimization of the risk to individual and/or organization that experienced the critical incident 
    • Delivery of specialized trauma-focused interventions for individuals and groups
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
    • To remain calm and effective in challenging situations
    • Following up with Wellness Support Groups and allowing participants to continue their recovery process
