What You'll Do:

    • Lead global accounting operations across GL, payroll accounting, fixed assets, and intercompany consolidation
    • Develop and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in accordance with IFRS while increasing precision and timeliness
    • Build and lead a growing team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
    • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, including 
    • Leveraging AI and system enhancements to streamline accounting and reporting
    • Manage key relationships with auditors, outsourced teams, and strategic partners.
    • Oversee financial audits, tax compliance, and internal controls
    • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures that align with operational growth
    • Play a key role in strategic projects, including preparing for future fundraising, potential IPO readiness, and M&A activity

What You'll Bring:

    • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with 3+ years of leadership experience at a combination of early and late stage startups and/or public accounting firms
    • End-to-end experience managing core accounting operations
    • Exceptional project management skills to prioritize and deliver on multiple high-impact initiatives on concurrent timelines
    • Innovative problem solving with a track record of improving processes, establishing an efficient control environment, and curating a scalable financial data infrastructures
    • Proven experience in designing and implementing financial systems (experience with an ERP implementation is a plus)
    • CPA certification and Big 4 experience
    • Consumer or film/game production industry is a plus

$160,000 - $210,000 a year
Salary offers are determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and alignment with the requirements of the role, as well as internal equity and market benchmarks
