Quality Control Technician

Support quality of products produced at a leading Utah bulk dietary supplement manufacturing facility by performing environmental swabbing, room and equipment checks, sampling of manufactured product, inspection and sampling of incoming raw materials.

Key Responsibilities

    • Sign off on room and equipment cleanings prior to use
    • Perform scale calibration checks
    • Perform metal detector checks
    • Perform environmental swabbing
    • Perform in-process testing as required
    • Monitor Production area for appropriate GMPs
    • Prepare sample containers for production lines
    • Collect samples for finished product testing
    • Label incoming raw materials
    • Inspect and sample incoming raw materials
    • Release raw materials after incoming testing is complete
    • Check incoming shipments to ensure paperwork matches and products are approved to be in the facility

Safety

    • Follows all environmental, health and safety protocols
    • Provides support for all safety and environmental initiatives
    • Proactively attempts to prevent all accidents and eliminate all unsafe conditions
    • Demonstrates management’s commitment to safety

Shift

    • 1st shift - 5:00am - 5:00pm
    • Eligible for $2.00 / hour premium (12 hour shift)
    • 2-2-3 Schedule
    • Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
    • Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Friday
    • Payday is every other week on Fridays

Required Education, Skills, Knowledge and Experiences

    • Education level: High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Understanding of GMPs preferred but will train
    • Microsoft Office applications experience preferred
    • Problem solving, positive professional attitude and demeanor, effective verbal and written communication
    • Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices including the proper wearing of clean protective clothing, following personal hygiene standards, and adherence to food/drink/tobacco restrictions
$21 - $21 an hour
Wages start at $21/hr
