Tech Team

We’re the team that brings ideas to life—end to end. From idea to design, development and maintenance. We focus on developer speed and autonomy, enabling engineers to ship high-quality code efficiently without unnecessary bottlenecks.

Our team is diverse, with people from different backgrounds, experience levels, and specialties, spread across multiple teams. We collaborate closely, learning from each other and solving complex challenges together. Whether it’s building something new, improving an existing system, we move fast and take ownership of what we build. We work with modern technologies, embrace experimentation, and continuously refine our processes to continue improving.

What you will be doing

Help us scale our engineering efforts by directly leading a team of 5-8 engineers, while continuing to contribute hands-on to our codebase and system design. You’ll guide the team across all aspects of software delivery — from technical design and implementation to operational excellence and quality. You’ll also help grow the team’s capabilities and intensity, and set a strong example through your leadership, ownership, and alignment with our values.

Key responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring they are aligned, productive, and growing.
    • Contribute directly to the codebase (~50% of your time), setting the bar for quality and velocity.
    • Guide system and technical design discussions to ensure scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
    • Promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
    • Partner with product and other functions to deliver high-impact features and technical foundations.
    • Help scale the team by hiring strong engineers and fostering their development through coaching and feedback.
    • Champion our values and help strengthen the team culture through your day-to-day actions.

What you'll need

    • Proven experience managing a team of 5+ engineers as their direct lead.
    • Track record of growing team effectiveness and raising engineering intensity.
    • Strong coding skills and architectural understanding — comfortable working in production codebases.
    • Experience driving high standards for system reliability, performance, and operational practices.
    • Strong drive to provide mentorship, feedback, and direction to engineers of varying levels.
    • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
    • Strong sense of ownership, pragmatism, and alignment with Insify values.
    • Experience working in high-growth environments or early-stage teams is a plus.
