Compensation: $150-180k + commission & equity eligible  
Location: This role is remote eligible, with occasional travel to our Washington, DC office along with external conferences and client sites as needed.  
Our offices are in Washington, D.C., and N.Y.C., and we'd be thrilled if you wanted to relocate to work with us in person. Our in-office teams come together for collaborative work in the office Tuesday through Thursday and work remotely on Monday and Friday.

Your Mission:   
You will be a key front-end direct sales professional presenting our complete suite of comprehensive fleet electrification solutions. This position will leverage a wide breadth of experience to create and deliver clear and executable roadmaps focused on cost savings, transition feasibility, and structured financial solutions.

As a result of your time in this role you leveraged your deep connections in the sectors where we operate, got prospective customers excited about our core and wrap-around services and closed more deals than anyone thought possible.  As a result, you added more revenue than we had anticipated and increased our profitability all while helping to decarbonize our planet and feeling great about the small role you played in our collective fight against climate change. 

Outcomes You'll Deliver:

    • Structure, price and negotiate complex customer centric financial leasing and charging solutions 
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities. This is a full-cycle sales process in which you will be managing your pipeline from lead generation through close.  
    • Tightly manage your pipeline and be able to speak to its progress by properly updating and tracking metrics via our CRM (Salesforce) 
    • Collaborate with management and our support teams (all of whom are your colleagues) to develop and present EV transition plans and sales presentations to targeted prospects  
    • Identify key decision-makers and stakeholders and develop multi-level relationships within target companies. 
    • Meet and exceed annual sales targets. 
    • Elevate our brand and image as our key brand ambassador by heavily networking at customer site meetings, conferences, and other key events to generate more revenue.   

Who You Are: 

    • You have 8+ years in B2B sales and can quickly get up to speed on complicated concepts 
    • You have experience selling a disruptive technology or have taken a new product to market  
    • You have excellent prospecting, time management, networking, relationship building skills and a proven track record of closing deals  
    • You can effectively manage multiple deals in various stages of the sales process 
    • You have industry experience within fleet electrification, transportation, or energy and can speak/sell to the challenges across the EV segment  
    • You have a working knowledge of CRM tools, preferably Salesforce  
    • You are known for your creative problem-solving skills, can craft unique solutions and present complex material effectively  
    • You enjoy the thrill of prospecting and are a hunter, not a farmer  
    • You are a strategic sales rep who can also get into the weeds with prospects via data, analysis and industry specific language  
    • You have experience selling based on value proposition rather than price 
    • You are familiar with a complex sales cycle (12-18 months) and can understand the process to get those deals over the line while building strong relationships with external stakeholders
