At Instructure, we believe in the power of people to grow and succeed throughout their lives. Our goal is to amplify that power by creating intuitive products that simplify learning and personal development, facilitate meaningful relationships, and inspire people to go further in their education and careers. We do this by giving smart, creative, passionate people opportunities to create awesome.

    • Communicate about educational research and evaluation designs, study status, and results using non-technical language.

    • Organize, document, and communicate planned work with the Associate Director of Research, Senior Researchers and your teammates.
    • Work with Researchers, Product Managers, Designers, Marketers, and Engineers to execute planned work in alignment with our roadmap

What you will need to know/have:

    • At least 2-4 years of professional experience working in K-12 education research or program evaluation.
    • Masters or Doctorate degree in Evaluation, Statistics, Educational Psychology, Psychology, Learning Sciences, Social Sciences, or other related field.

    • Strong time management, project management, and organizational skills.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Experience with Stata or R for quantitative analyses.
    • Experience translating technical findings for non-technical audiences.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Self-starter with a bias towards responsible action.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude and ability to remove blockers to project delivery.
    • Demonstrated ability to regularly meet and exceed expectations, particularly as it relates to communication and project deadlines.

It would be a bonus if you had:

    • Experience with R analyses and reporting via R Markdown.
