The Director of Channel Sales APAC is responsible for developing and managing all aspects of the Global Channel Sales Program in the Asia region. This individual will lead the selection, management, training and development of Channel Account Managers and Value Added Resellers to achieve sales quotas and maximize customer satisfaction.


    • Meet regional revenue and bookings targets
    • Recruit, train, and coach Channel Account Managers to achieve sales quota
    • Support Channel Account Managers in selecting channel partners who have the requisite capabilities to help Instructure in its sales and customer satisfaction efforts
    • Support Channel Account Managers in finding new potential partners in key markets
    • Support Channel Account Managers in executing reseller agreements with channel partners
    • Develop and execute various marketing campaigns, progress leads and conduct post-program ROI analyst to gauge effectiveness
    • Develop co-marketing business plans resulting in YoY growth with several manage partnersset short- and long-term channel sales objectives and evaluate the effectiveness of the current program
    • Support Channel Account Managers in developing and executing territory plansLead the strategy development and execution of territory plans within the region
    • Participate in and contribute to channel program changes and adjustments to meet market needs
    • Support Channel Account Managers ensuring enablement and certification of channel partners
    • Manage tasks to completion per project schedule, or direction from manager/management independently
    • Coordinate with distribution management in developing strong relationships with distributors in region leading to increased and efficient sales
    • Coordinate with marketing management in developing and executing marketing plans across the region

Requirements (Skills, Knowledge, Abilities):

    • Regional business planning and GTM analysis 
    • Deep understanding of sales metrics and KPI’sUnderstanding of technology use in education and LMS (Preferred)
    • Leadership in preparing for and executing meetings with channel partners and customers
    • Executive presence 
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Tools, Google Apps
    • Manage multiple, competing demands to reach project deliverables and meet deadlines
    • Ability to engage with cross-functional work teams
    • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills 
    • Ability to travel within the region
