We are looking for a full-time Professional Services Project Manager to be part of the Parchment International team that deploys Digitary applications to clients. The successful candidate will have a background in the education software industry, experience with project management, strong communication skills, and the willingness and ability to think creatively and flexibly.

This position is suited to a person who brings both business analysis skills and project management experience to the role. The Project Manager must be effective in managing projects and people and passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience, including ensuring the customers onboarding and implementation goals are met in a timely manner.   

With teams located in Australia, Ireland, UK, and Canada, and with a growing presence in the Japan market, Digitary by Parchment helps almost 200 Higher Education providers around the world to securely certify their academic qualifications online. Our technology secures the achievements of millions of students and graduates and our platform has been used in over 100 countries.

About the Role

    • Ability to interact with a range of internal and external stakeholders, managing multiple projects simultaneously
    • Assist in defining the project scope and objectives for client projects, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
    • As this role involves coordination with global teams, and clients across multiple countries and timezones, this position involves being able to support flexibility in working hours.
    • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress while identifying and mitigating risks
    • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
    • Ensure resource availability and allocation
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget
    • Create and maintain revenue forecasting by updating monthly milestone forecasting 
    • Report and escalate issues to management as needed
    • Craft and coordinate communication plans that will keep all project participants updated and aware of the project status
    • Manage expectations with clients and internal resources
    • Assume the role of trusted advisor to clients based on knowledge of client requirements and Instructure best practices
    • Track time for all tasks against the applicable projects
    • Excel in an environment with constant change

About You

    • Preferred Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field
    • 2 or more years’ experience with project management in an enterprise software (preferably SaaS) environment
    • Required experience with formal project management methodologies
    • Experience working in a higher education or K-12 setting preferred
    • Highly effective communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills, both with technical and non-technical audiences
    • Impeccable attention to detail with a command of project management tools
    • Proven ability to work effectively, independently, and in a team-based environment
    • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Contribute to internal continuous improvement discussions by documenting, analyzing and sharing client feedback throughout project assignments
    • Ability to operate in ambiguity of new client business problems and rapidly develop a plan and path forward with very little direction or oversight
