At Instructure, we believe in the power of people to grow and succeed throughout their lives. Our goal is to amplify that power by creating intuitive products that simplify learning and personal development, facilitate meaningful relationships, and inspire people to go further in their education and careers. We do this by giving smart, creative, passionate people opportunities to create awesome. And that's where you come in:

The Email Marketing Coordinator will support the execution of customer and partner email marketing programs across the globe. You’ll work closely with email marketers, content creators, and cross-functional stakeholders to help bring campaigns to life—from drafting and building emails in Marketo to scheduling, testing, and pulling performance metrics post-launch. You’ll be an essential part of our growing email marketing team, learning the ins and outs of lifecycle marketing, campaign operations, and marketing automation systems.

We’re looking for someone who gets a weird thrill from a clean HTML email, who knows that an emoji in a subject line is a strategic decision, not a whim. You’ve got an eye for detail, a hunger to learn, and you triple-check every link like your reputation depends on it (because it kinda does). You’re organized, curious, and maybe just a little obsessed with making sure emails land in the inbox, not the abyss of spam. Whether you're QAing a campaign, building out templates, or pulling reports to see what worked (and what really worked), you bring creativity, precision, and a positive attitude to every step.

If that sounds like your kind of inbox, let’s talk.

Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the execution of email campaigns for customer and partner audiences, including building emails in Marketo, setting up audience segments, and scheduling sends
    • Support the email calendar by helping coordinate campaign deadlines, content needs, and reviews across teams
    • Perform thorough QA of email content, links, formatting, and dynamic elements before deployment
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather campaign requirements and ensure brand and message alignment
    • Help monitor performance metrics like open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, and compile reports for team analysis
    • Participate in A/B tests and support personalization efforts to improve engagement
    • Maintain email templates and contribute to asset organization and documentation
    • Stay up-to-date on email marketing trends, tools, and best practices
    • Partner with marketing operations to ensure clean data usage, proper tracking, and alignment with Salesforce campaigns

Qualifications:

    • 1–2 years of marketing experience (internships or hands-on student projects count!)
    • Familiarity with email marketing tools—Marketo experience a big plus
    • Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems
    • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Solid writing and proofreading skills, with an understanding of brand voice
    • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email formatting is a bonus
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
    • A curious mindset and eagerness to learn new tools and marketing tactics

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with project management tools like Asana
    • Familiarity with email performance metrics and reporting tools
    • Exposure to A/B testing or personalization strategies
    • Interest in working in B2B SaaS or edtech
    • A passion for marketing automation and customer lifecycle communications

About You:

    • Detail-obsessed: You catch typos before Grammarly does and wouldn’t dream of sending a broken link.
    • Fast learner: You pick up new tools quickly and love growing your skill set.
    • Collaborative: You’re a team player who’s just as happy supporting a campaign as leading one.
    • Organized: Calendars, checklists, and spreadsheets are your happy place.
    • Eager: You want to grow into a marketing pro and are ready to put in the reps.
    • Fun: You take the work seriously, but not yourself. You know how to laugh during a team standup, even when the UTM codes are on fire.
